The InventionHome Inventors Corner Shines Brightly at 2013 Housewares Show.

With 2,100 exhibitors from 34 countries, and more than 20,000 buyers from over 100 countries, the International Home + Housewares Show has become the undisputed leading Housewares tradeshow in the United States.

One of the hottest areas of this year’s show was the “InventionHome Inventors Corner”, where more than 60 inventors and entrepreneurs converged to showcase their wares to a staggering number of companies seeking new product opportunities for license or wholesale.

As the VIP sponsor of the Inventors Corner, InventionHome had the wonderful opportunity to interact and discuss product opportunities with companies in attendance such as Rubbermaid, Target, QVC, S.C. Johnson, SkyMall and many others.

But, the success did not stop there. Well over 30 NEW companies were interested in teaming with InventionHome to review our client’s new inventions and we realized a combined total of 135 instances where companies asked for additional information on our products (“interest”). The interest is the starting point for discussing licensing opportunities for our clients.

Needless to say, our marketing department is working in overdrive to follow up on all these new opportunities, gather additional information to answer companies’ questions, and to push out all of our client inventions that meet criteria of these new member companies.

I have a product I came up with last year. I did a patient search, there is none like it anywhere in or on the market. I was going to call Home Depot today to see if I can get some help in putting this in production, should I try getting it patient first. As you know the patient cost so much. I need help!

I have a product that I have had a company make the 3-D drawings, informational materials, etc. It is currently in the process of the 1st leg of getting a patent. Is there anyway I can present this idea directly to Rubbermaid? This product can be sold anywhere, Target, Drug Store, Circle K’s, and even schools for money making projects , it can also be made to support college sports, nascar fans, holidays, etc. The possibilities are endless.

    Ms. D,

Rubbermaid allows individual inventors to submit their products by going to their website and following the submission instructions. They have certain submission guidelines that your product will need to meet, but you can find that information on their website.
