InventionHome is proud to announce that a license agreement was just signed for the Hat Shield, a face shield that attaches to a standard baseball hat.

Douglas, a North Carolina inventor developed Hat Shield as an alternative to wearing goggles that can be uncomfortable in very hot weather. It is a handy feature for carpenters, lawn care professionals, painters, machinists, mechanics, janitors, and many others.

InventionHome’s efforts brought exposure to this product, ultimately leading to this license agreement.

Just tried to Google “hat shield” and couldn’t find it?? Probably not the best vote of confidence for Invention Home that it’s not able to be found on one of the easiest/most effective marketing tools available. FYI

@Kevin. Hello! Despite obtaining a licensing deal in March 2016, a product could take a couple of years before reaching retail marketplaces. In this case, it’s only been approximately 7 months since the licensing deal was inked. It takes manufacturing companies some time to make any modifications or improvements on the product before it can be sold in stores. There are many, many details, regulations, etc. that go into licensing and manufacturing invention ideas. If you are interested in learning how the marketing and licensing process works, please contact our office via phone at 866-844-6512. A Product Development Manager can outline the lengthy process in much more detail than myself. Thanks and have a great day!
